James J. Schmitz, 79, of Lakefield, formerly of Okabena, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Lakefield.
James J. Schmitz, 79, of Lakefield, formerly of Okabena, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Lakefield.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Dingmann Funeral Home, Worthington.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Dingmann Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jim Callahan officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor’s charity of choice or the American Cancer Society.
