Slumberland donates beds to needy in Nobles County
WORTHINGTON — Through its company-wide Homes for the Holidays promotion, Slumberland of Worthington has once again donated beds to families in need. In the 10 years since the holiday giveaway began, Slumberland co-owner Krista Petersen estimates they’ve donated nearly 200 beds.

Women’s Expo happens Saturday
WORTHINGTON — Winter is still around, but the Daily Globe Women’s Expo Health and Home Show promises to be the ideal way to usher in spring. The sixth annual Daily Globe Women’s Expo, sponsored by the Daily Globe, Sanford Health, Minnesota West Community and Technical College and Avera Medical Group Worthington will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Minnesota West Community and Technical College.
