Baumgard, who transports family and friends on frequent winter trips to Williams Arena – in his “luxurious” maroon and gold painted minibus – to watch his beloved Minnesota Gophers play basketball, was handing out information about Gopher Road Trip: Chalk Talk, 2013.

WORTHINGTON — In real life, Erick Baumgart is an officer in the Worthington Police Department, a relative newcomer to the community, having moved here from Winona less than a year ago. But on the occasional weekend, Baumgart assumes a different persona — that of a World War II paratrooper in Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division.
