Roger Robert McHarg
Roger McHarg was born on April 12, 1944 in Fulda, Minnesota to Robert and Matilda Pollack McHarg. He grew up on the family farm east of Fulda and attended Fulda High School. On June 9, 1967 he and Paulette (Pollie) Ann Brust were married at St. Mary’s Church in Worthington, MN. Roger was drafted to the United States Army on August 4, 1967 and served a tour in Vietnam and was later stationed in Anchorage, AK. Following his honorable discharge on July 24, 1970 they moved to an acreage north of Lismore, MN. Roger worked for various construction companies as a heavy machine operator. In 1974 they moved to Lismore. Roger retired in 2010. Roger was a recycler and salvager before recycling was cool. Roger passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at his home in Lismore surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Church in Lismore. He also was a member of the Lismore American Legion Post and served on the Lismore City Council for 4 years.
Survivors include his wife, Paulette (Pollie) McHarg of Lismore, MN two daughters, Carmelle McHarg of Blue Earth, MN and Lottie Petersen and her husband, Glen of Tyler, MN, three grandsons, Graham, Emmett and Owen Petersen and one sister, Marion Kuehl of Currie, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Marlin Terhark was born on November 13, 1932 to Ralph & Kate (Torbeck) Terhark on a farm place outside of Little Rock, IA, after completing school in Little Rock, IA, he worked for Rohlin Construction out of Estherville, IA. After marriage he worked as a farm help for John Steen, and managed the Worthington Rendering Plant for over thirty years.
Marlin enjoyed hunting & fishing and spending quality time with his family, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. His precious and quality time was spent reading the Bible and walking beside the Lord.
