It was more of an accidental career, something she fell into but resolved to make the best of for the duration — which turned out to be more than 36 years. John R. Muller
JOHN RAYMOND MULLER, age 85, of Fulda, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home in Fulda. He was born December 11, 1927, in rural Adrian, to Adolf and Grace (Van Dyke) Muller. He attended country school at Nobles County Dist. #14; and graduated from Little Rock High School in Little Rock, IA. After graduation, John worked in Minneapolis before being drafted in the United States Army. He served his country in the Korean Conflict from 1946 to 1947 attaining the rank of Platoon Sargent. After his discharge, he returned to Minnesota to farm with his father & brother.

John married Mollyann Zanter on October 7, 1950, at the Avoca Lutheran Church. The couple farmed by Slayton and south of Fulda for over thirty years. In 1973, John was appointed District Sales Manager for JC Robinson Golden Harvest Seed Co. A position he held for twenty years, receiving many sales awards. John & Mollyann sold their farm and moved to Fulda in 1991. They spent their retirement years wintering in Texas & Arizona.
