Charles G. Fitch MD
September 3, 1930 – April 24, 2013
Charles G. Fitch MD, age 82 of Forest Lake, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center-Fairview. A very special man who was a devoted husband, father, and doctor will be missed more than words could ever say. Charles was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ann and Grant Fitch, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife, June Kaye LaBelle Fitch; eight children, daughters, Jessica (Tim) Ostman, Deborah (Scott) Peterson, Rebekah (Edward) Castle, Nonna Fellman Fitch; sons, Grant (Lori) Fitch, David (Jennifer) Fitch, Mark (Heather) Fitch, and Matthew (Gao) Fitch; eighteen grandchildren.

Ronald "Ronnie" Dean Muecke
Ronnie Muecke was born on July 29, 1936 in Slayton, Minnesota to Walter and Madeline Holm Muecke. He grew up in Slayton and attended Slayton High School. Ronnie worked for Olson Welding and later for Art Olson making fiberglass boats for Slayton Boat Industries. On August 16, 1958 he and Marlene Kulseth were married at Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton. Following their marriage they made their home in Slayton and raised their two daughters. Ronnie worked for Muecke Sand and Gravel in Slayton and Slayton Zero Pack as a meat cutter. Ronnie then worked for Rupp Construction in Slayton until his retirement in 1999. On April 16, 2013 Ronnie moved to Our House Hospice Home in Slayton and passed away there on Monday, April 22, 2013 surrounded by his family at the age of 76. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, golfing and visiting with friends.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Muecke of Slayton, MN, two daughters, Julie and DuWayne Like of Winona, MN, and Lisa and Jon Wajer of Brewster, MN, two grandsons, Nathan and Amber Wajer of Rushmore, MN, and Logan Wajer of Brewster, MN, six brothers and sisters, Walter Muecke Jr. of Slayton, MN, Sharon and Robert Schultz of Westbrook, MN, Gary and Dottie Muecke of Slayton, MN, Orian and Sue Muecke of Plymoth, MN, Dennis Muecke of Slayton, MN, and Trudy and Robert Biegler of Iona, MN.

YMCA: Worthington Area YMCA opens up summer program registration
WORTHINGTON — With summer not too far away, the Worthington Area YMCA will be starting signups for a variety of summer programs in the coming weeks.
