Lyndon John Evans
Lyndon John Evans, 65, of St Paul, formerly of Worthington, MN, died Sunday June 2, 2013, after a long illness. The son of John Thompson Evans & Ines Merriman Evans.

Lyndon was born in Red Wing, MN on September 13, 1947. The family moved from Ellsworth, WI to New York Mills, MN, then to Worthington. At age 10, Lyndon started attending MN School for the Deaf in Faribault. He went to Gallaudet College in Washington, DC, and to Grand Rapids Bible College in MI. He met his sweetheart Barbara "Jean" O'Ferrell at Tennessee Temple, and they married on July 2, 1981 in Chattanooga. They helped with Awanas at their church in St Paul, where he served as custodian. He loved interpreting with American Sign Language.

Carolyn Elaine Zylstra, age 67, of North Mankato, died Friday, May 24, 2013, at her residence following a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 30, 2013, at First Presbyterian Church in Mankato, with Rev. Harold Tongen officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Ransom Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. North Mankato Mortuary handled the arrangements.
