RUTH M. HANSEN, 94, of Jackson, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Jackson Sanford Hospital. Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Our Saviors Lutheran Church with Pastor Lance Isaacson officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 4:30-6:30 PM and also on Saturday one hour prior to the service, both at the Church.

HUDSON, age 99, of Worthington, MN; formerly of Iowa City, IA; died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at South Shore Care Center in Worthington, MN; She was born on June 29, 1913 in Minneapolis to Henry and Elizabeth (DeVille) Osterfeld. Madlyn graduated from Edison High School in 1931 in Minneapolis, and then took business classes. After her schooling she lived in Des Moines and Omaha.
Madlyn was united in marriage on New Years Eve of 1936 to Dorovan H. Hudson in Omaha, NE. They moved to Iowa City, IA in 1943 where they made their home. She was a secretary at Hoover Grade School for many years. In 1995, Madlyn moved to Worthington to be closer to her family.
