MADLYN G. HUDSON, age 99, of Worthington, MN; formerly of Iowa City, IA; died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at South Shore Care Center in Worthington, MN; She was born on June 29, 1913 in Minneapolis to Henry and Elizabeth (DeVille) Osterfeld. Madlyn graduated from Edison High School in 1931 in Minneapolis, and then took business classes. After her schooling she lived in Des Moines and Omaha.

Madlyn was united in marriage on New Years Eve of 1936 to Dorovan H. Hudson in Omaha, NE. They moved to Iowa City, IA in 1943 where they made their home. She was a secretary at Hoover Grade School for many years. In 1995, Madlyn moved to Worthington to be closer to her family.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2013, at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Mankato, with Rev. Greg Lenz officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour before the service at church on Friday. Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park in Mankato. Memorials are preferred to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, MN Chapter.
