Church leaders discuss use of Facebook, Twitter to connect with members
LAKEFIELD — The Rev. Andrew Schensted and the deacons at Bethlehem Lutheran Church were looking for new ways to connect to the members of their congregation.
What they found was social media.
For over 80 years, this community has been generous in providing for its Community Christmas Basket program. The committee of about 20 people, who have volunteered to oversee this project, is continually overwhelmed by the spirit of giving.
