WORTHINGTON — With mild air temperatures and green grass still underfoot, it’s natural to ignore that winter is around the corner — and when it arrives, not everyone will have what it takes to bundle up.
Prints being sold to benefit local historical society
WORTHINGTON — It’s a simple pen-and-ink drawing on a flat sheet of paper, and yet it vividly captures a slice of life in Worthington and gives dimension to the city’s history.
WORTHINGTON — With $300,000 available from the county’s Clean Water Partnership fund and the potential to access more money from the city’s sale of the hospital in Worthington, managers of the Okabena-Ocheda Watershed District went to work Tuesday to identify projects to benefit water quality in Lake Okabena.
A benefit supper for Anthony Bents will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Elks Lodge, 1105 Second Ave., Worthington. A meal of pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, chips and bars will be served for a free-will offering.
RUSHMORE — Like most rambunctious 4-year-olds, Anthony Bents likes to ride his bike, go fishing with his dad and can list off the names of various dinosaurs.
