WORTHINGTON — A young Worthington man died early Friday morning at Sanford Worthington Medical Center after being involved in a one-vehicle rollover.
Mitchell James Benson, 20, of Worthington, was brought to the emergency room by a private party, according to information released by the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
A cement truck carrying a full load rolled onto its side Tuesday afternoon while attempting to make a left turn on Nobles 16 after traveling north on Minnesota 91. The Lismore Fire Department freed the driver from the cab, then spent hours washing out the truck with their fire hoses so it could be stood back up and removed from the scene. The driver was transported by ambulance to Sanford Medical Center with unknown injuries.
One dead, many injured in rollover accident
RUSHMORE — A van carrying eight people rolled Saturday on Interstate 90, leaving one person dead, two people in critical condition and five people with injuries.
The Nobles County Sheriff’s Office, Brewster Rescue Squad and Worthington Ambulance responded to a one-vehicle rollover accident Wednesday afternoon eight miles south of Fulda. No further information about the accident or the injuries sustained during it was available Wednesday night.
WORTHINGTON — Timothy Wildfeuer of Fulda was killed Thursday after his vehicle veered across the road on Nobles County 14 and hit a field approach, rolling the SUV into a nearby field, according to the Nobles County Sheriff’s Office.
The Nobles County Sheriff’s Department, Minnesota State Patrol and Worthington Ambulance responded to a one vehicle rollover early Friday evening on the curve at 320th Street and Read Avenue. The road is part of the detour for the delayed MN 60 construction. (Brian Korthals/Daily Globe)
4:45 p.m. Thursday update:
RUSHMORE — Authorities released the name of the juvenile female killed in Wednesday’s crash in Rushmore, identifying the victim as 16-year-old Destiny Johnson.
Johnson, who would have been 17 years old next month, was a student at Worthington High School and would have graduated with the class of 2012.
The Worthington ambulance, fire and rescue, along with the Nobles County Sherriff’s office, were called to a semi tractor-trailer rollover on Nobles County State Aid Highway 4 Thursday night south of Worthington.
