five days LUVERNE — Rock County seems to be weathering the ice and snowstorm that blanketed southwest Minnesota about as well as its easterly neighbor, Nobles County.
Three crashes happen in snow near Alexandria and Glenwood
ALEXANDRIA — In the space of three hours, six lives were lost in three separate crashes on snowy, slushy roads near Alexandria and Glenwood on Monday.
As the first measurable snow in quite some time fell across southwest Minnesota, students at Prairie Elementary in Worthington were happy to spend their recess period gallivanting about in the white stuff, skidding down the small hill behind the school, digging tunnels and enjoying the winter wonderland.
