Travel to be ‘very difficult ... if not impossible’
WORTHINGTON — It’s beginning to look a bit too much like Christmas.
Nearly three inches of fresh snow had fallen by noon Tuesday, creating a total of 10 inches on the ground in Worthington and causing many to question their holiday travel plans.
WORTHINGTON — So much for easing into winter.
After an unseasonably mild November, the first big snowfall of the season brought sliding cars, school closings and a bonafide blizzard for northwest Iowa and parts of southwest Minnesota.
MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) issued an air pollution health advisory for the southern two-thirds of the state of Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, Rochester, St. Cloud, Duluth and the Brainerd lakes area, effective today through Saturday.
