I have been reading a lot on gun control in the weeks since the Sandy Hook massacre. It’s interesting to read both sides of the argument. My stance is against, but for what it’s worth, I’d like to comment on a couple editorials in the Globe recently.

WORTHINGTON — Pawn It in Worthington has a waiting list of people wanting to purchase a black gun — the AR-15 and others like it that are capable of firing in quick succession.
I don’t get it. I hear President Obama and others mourning the death of the children that were killed in Connecticut, as they should. They are asking the taxpayers to pay for more security so that children will be safe.

WORTHINGTON — A handful of local women and youths experienced the thrill of the hunt, the rush of the flush and the wet trousers of a rather damp October morning when they participated in the Minnesota DNR’s Special Mentored Youth/Women Pheasant Hunt on Saturday.
