VFW BASEBALL: Worthington sweeps Slayton
WORTHINGTON — Worthington’s VFW baseball team left no doubt Thursday, sweeping a doubleheader with Slayton 17-5 and 13-5.
“We hit the ball very well,” Worthington coach T.D. Hostikka said. “I pitched a couple of 15-year-olds to get them some experience and they showed me something.”
