Nobles Co-op Electric gets 500 households powered Saturday; 97 crews working today
9:45 a.m. Sunday press release: WORTHINGTON -– We are making progress! Yesterday, Nobles Cooperative Electric estimated that 2,500 members were without power, today those numbers show dramatic improvement with 2,000 members out of power. The cooperative can now report that 95 percent of our three-phase (main) line is restored.April 14, 2013

WORTHINGTON — Nobles Cooperative Electric went from more than 3,400 member households without power Thursday morning to approximately 3,200 households without power by 4 p.m. Yet while the numbers were declining, there’s still much work to be done, and concerns linger about downed power lines under the weight of ice and snow.
