WORTHINGTON — The 2011 edition of the Nobles County Fair may not officially start until Thursday, but for the nearly 25 members in the county 4-H program’s dog project, Monday’s Regional 4-H Dog Show ought to be considered the kick-off to Fair Week in Worthington.
WORTHINGTON — It wasn’t just the vehicles that were shining Saturday at the Car Show & Shine at Spomer Classics & Museum in Worthington. The sun also came out for the occasion — adding a special sparkle to the event that featured classic cars from throughout the region.

WORTHINGTON — Kay Williams Prunty was definitely looking for love in all the right places when it came to choosing a theme for the 14th annual spring dance concert of her business, The Dance Academy of Worthington.
WORTHINGTON — The final bell is about to ring, and the art classrooms at Worthington High School are still bustling with activity. Students are busy shuttling their artwork back and forth, cleaning clay off the tables and preparing for Friday’s student art show.

JACKSON — Jackson’s Christmas spirit had just a hint of country twang Saturday, as area talent took the stage in “Opry Christmas Jackson Style,” a musical show that was part of the city’s Holiday Fest celebration.
