PREP TRACK AND FIELD: WHS boys, Fulda girls win Fulda invite
SLAYTON — Seniors Danny Rodriguez, Mitch Weg and Mubarik Musa each won two individual events Tuesday to lead the Worthington boys to a convincing team victory in the Fulda Invitational track and field meet held at the Murray County Central track, while Fulda senior foreign-exchange student Sylvia Zanini’s triple victory in the shot put, discus and high hurdles helped the hosting Fulda Raiders edge MCC for the girls’ team title.

Anthony Luft, a sophomore 106-pounder, placed sixth last year at state. This year he came in with one goal - to win it all.

PREP WRESTLING: Moore brothers hoping to lead JCC to glory at the state tournament
WORTHINGTON — Cooper Moore has plenty of state experience under his belt.
In his sixth season as a member of the Jackson County Central wrestling team, Moore has been to the state tournament four times as an individual and has helped his team win the Class A title three times.
