This past year these efforts paid huge dividends as we successfully secured four different grants. The following is a description of these initiatives and how they enabled us to serve the needs of our consumers.

Kindergarten Round-Up scheduled for March 22
WORTHINGTON — Prairie Elementary will host its annual Kindergarten Round-Up on March 22. Parents may select one of three sessions: 10 to 11:30 a.m., 1 to 2:30 p.m. or 4 to 5:30 p.m.

Column: Students using iPOds to further education
WORTHINGTON — The kindergarten and fourth-grade classrooms at Prairie Elementary have had the opportunity to explore some new technology in the classroom. Three kindergarten classrooms and all of the fourth-grade classrooms are piloting the iPod Touch. However, all kindergarten classrooms have had the opportunity to experience this new technology.
