WORTHINGTON — For the third time in recent years, Nobles County Sheriff Kent Wilkening will make an appeal to commissioners during Tuesday’s board meeting to have the county Emergency Management director’s office moved to the Prairie Justice Center (PJC).
Temporary bonds issued in the amount of $10.41 million
WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday approved the second issuance of bonds for the costs of constructing water improvements to the Lincoln-Pipestone Rural Water System in Nobles and Jackson counties.
Commissioners approve .6 percent levy increase
WORTHINGTON — Commissioners set Nobles County’s not-to-exceed levy at $9,568,807, reflecting a .6 percent increase over the 2009 levy, during their regular board meeting on Tuesday.
