WORTHINGTON — Between a wet spring and a long state government shutdown, the schedule for the Minnesota 60 project has taken some hits, which will force the detour to remain in place through the winter, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
WORTHINGTON — Detours are now routing motorists off Minnesota 60 around the outskirts of Worthington, but the Minnesota Department of Transportation reminds local residents that businesses located on the highway headed south are still open for business.
WORTHINGTON — Mailboxes have been relocated, new striping is complete and the signs are going up all along the detour route as Minnesota Department of Transportation officials gear up to reroute traffic from Minnesota 60 onto the Nobles County State Aid Highway system.
WORTHINGTON — With construction of the $120 million four-lane expansion of Minnesota 60 from Bigelow to Worthington to begin in just two weeks, officials with the Minnesota Department of Transportation will host an open house from 4 to 6 p.m. Aug. 12, in the Farmer’s Room of the Nobles County Government Center, 315 10th St., Worthington.
WORTHINGTON — Dennis Bucholz, manager of Worthington Ag Parts, went before the Nobles County Planning Commission Wednesday night to notify them of some changes that will need to be made at the business as a result of the Minnesota 60 four-lane expansion project.
