Local chapter to celebrate latest acquisition at March 30 banquet
WORTHINGTON — Nobles County Pheasants Forever is gearing up for its 29th annual banquet March 30, during which it will celebrate yet another land acquisition to provide public space for outdoor recreation.
HERON LAKE — The Heron Lake Watershed District will host a public workshop on the wildlife habitat work being done in the HLWD and southwest Minnesota at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Heron Lake Community Center.
State’s top chapter gears up for annual banquet March 25
WORTHINGTON — Nobles County Pheasants Forever will have much to celebrate when it hosts its 29th annual banquet later this month.
In January, the chapter was named 2010 Minnesota Chapter of the Year from among 77 chapters statewide. A plaque, which will be displayed at Burger King in Worthington, was awarded during the organization’s annual conference in Mankato.
