WORTHINGTON — Marco has announced its purchase of Mason City Business Systems Inc., also doing business as Cedar Rapids Business Systems Inc., Des Moines Business Systems Inc., Fort Dodge Business Systems Inc., Quad Cities Business Systems Inc. and Waterloo Business Systems Inc.
WORTHINGTON — Marco has announced that it distributed $2.1 million in stock benefits for fiscal 2011 to eligible employees. The 421 employees celebrated last week at the annual shareholders’ meeting where they learned about Marco’s 17.2 percent stock appreciation and received a certificate identifying their ownership stake.
WORTHINGTON — Marco Inc. will be the first managed services provider to offer the Intel AppUp Small Business service running on the Intel Hybrid Cloud throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin.
WORTHINGTON — Marco Inc. has been named one of the Best Places to Work for 2011 based on an employee-based survey project by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. This is the second consecutive year Marco has received the award.

WORTHINGTON — Twenty-two schools in southwest Minnesota make up Region VI FFA, and of the nine-member officer team, two individuals hail from the Worthington FFA Chapter.
Even more impressive is that both of these females plan to one day pursue careers in agricultural education.
Cheyenne Marco, a WHS junior and FFA chapter vice president, serves as the Region VI secretary, while WHS senior and FFA chapter president Kaylee Williamson is the region’s FFA reporter. They were elected to the posts by their peers last April.
