WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Planning and Zoning Commission approved five requests for conditional use permits at its Wednesday night meeting, which will result in the expansion of existing swine, beef and dairy feeding operations near Ellsworth, Adrian, Wilmont and Worthington.
New plan will go into effect June 1

WORTHINGTON — Nobles County Commissioners on Tuesday unanimously approved a redistricting plan that looks most similar to the district boundaries currently utilized — leaving four commissioner districts to serve portions of the city of Worthington.
WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit Wednesday night for Sy Lonneman & Sons, Adrian, to construct an 80- by 124-foot total confinement barn to house 2,000 head of nursery pigs in the northeast quarter of Section 1, Grand Prairie Township. The barn, to be constructed with a concrete pit below, will be located to the east of two existing barns.
Permit request approved despite opposition
WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Planning Commission Wednesday night approved the first step in the permitting process for Lynch Livestock to move from its present site along Worthington’s southeast beltline to a new location along Minnesota 60, northeast of Worthington.
