WORTHINGTON — A Worthington teen was an honored guest at the Minnesota Governor’s Mansion earlier this week, where she was presented the Red Wagon Award for her volunteer efforts.
ADRIAN — Speechless? Not Jason Olson. It would take more than notification of his selection as the 2012 Minnesota recipient of the National Federation of High Schools’ Outstanding Speech, Debate and Theatre Educator of the Year award to leave Olson without words.
WORTHINGTON — Art students from the Area Learning Center were in for a surprise Monday when they arrived at the Nobles County Art Center. They learned an art piece they had worked on for two quarters was recognized for a merit award at the Area Art Show.
PIPESTONE — Lancer Insurance Co. has announced that Ludolph Bus Service Inc., Pipestone, has received its Safety Excellence Award.
The award recognizes the safety excellence of Ludolph Bus Service for the 2010 policy year.
JACKSON — Members of the LaCrosse Loyal Workers 4-H Club appeared before Jackson County Commissioners Tuesday morning with a brief presentation about their “Safety ABC: Always Be Careful” project, which was recognized last week with an Association of Minnesota Counties Leadership Award.
