Gerald McConkey’s home at 1426 Hillcrest Ave., Worthington, has been awarded third place in the residential division of this year’s Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce Holiday Lighting Contest. Receiving honorable mentions were the following: 849 Turner, 603 Ninth St., 1950 Dorathea Blvd., corner of West Lake Ave. and Fox Farm Road, 1932 James Blvd., 1427 Hillcrest Ave., 1403 Hillcrest Ave., 1424 Eckerson, 1624 East Ave., 277 Lakehill Drive, 1360 Briarwood Drive and 1941 Cecilee St. Photos of second- and first-place winners in the residential division of the contest will appear in the Daily Globe later this week.
