WORTHINGTON — Slow down — road construction season is still in progress.
Local motorists have probably already noticed the construction projects underway along County State Aid Highways (C.S.A.H.) 10 and 35 near Worthington Middle School (WMS), but they might not be aware of the projects’ goals or targeted completion dates.

WORTHINGTON — District 518 Board of Education met Wednesday morning for the second round of discussion concerning renewal of Superintendent John Landgaard’s contract which will expire June 30, 2012. Superintendent contracts are renewed every three years.
JACKSON — Jury selection began Tuesday in Jackson County District Court for the trial of 39-year-old Tyron Collins, who was indicted for first-degree murder after allegedly stabbing his brother to death at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Lakefield on June 10, 2010.
