WORTHINGTON — A room full of teachers and several community members gathered Monday at Worthington High school for an intercultural development workshop as part of the staff development program for the Flexible Learning Year (FLY) initiative.
WORTHINGTON — The city’s planning commission met Tuesday for two public hearings followed by a decision to recommend two special use applications to the Worthington City Council at its next regular meeting.
It may have felt hot enough to fry an egg outside Monday, but an attempt to do so failed, cracking that myth to pieces.
The nearby flowers, however, looked happy about the scorching, humid afternoon.
Temperatures are supposed to stay sweltering and sticky for the majority of the week.
WORTHINGTON — Mother’s Day is over, but the Worthington community will continue to honor area mothers with music and prizes at the annual Mother’s Day Celebration from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at St. Mary’s School.
