WORTHINGTON — If you’re a kid, there’s nothing quite as grand as having a snow day. But as snow banks continue to mount, snow days and late starts are accumulating as well. Schools throughout southwest Minnesota are anxiously searching for ways to make-up days without compromising the academic calendar already set in place.

WORTHINGTON — Numerous schools in southwest Minnesota and northwest Iowa had to call off classes on Monday and Tuesday due to heavy snowfall and impassable roads, and now they are left to find openings in the calendar for make-up days.
FULDA — Fulda’s annual Wood Duck Festival, themed “Music Through the Ages,” will feature tunes galore, with performances by the Fulda Big Band, the Fulda High School Concert Band and other musical groups, a street dance, and a presentation on Fulda’s music history.
