Second phase of Minnesota 60 construction set for next spring
WORTHINGTON — Crews will begin demolition of the old railroad bridge over Minnesota 60 in Worthington today, with plans formalizing to open up the new four-lane highway from Bigelow to Worthington’s beltline, near Worthington Power and Equipment by the end of this month.
“We are salvaging various materials as we go,” said Rich Kosman of Creative Services of Scandia as demolition of the former East Acres Trailer Court continues Wednesday as part of the Minnesota 60 reconstruction project.
Hearing on the Center ends without resolution

Worthington Excavation completes the demolition of a home Tuesday morning near GuidePoint Pharmacy in Worthington. GuidePoint will be undergoing a building renovation and adding a new off-street parking area, owner Jason Turner said. The pharmacy will relocate into the building next door to its current location sometime this summer.
