RUSHMORE — A man’s voice echoed across a hand-held radio Tuesday morning, notifying a group of enXco workers that a technician was in cardiac arrest and unresponsive at the top of Tower 42 after sustaining an electrical shock inside the wind turbine.
WORTHINGTON — Nobles County Commissioners on Tuesday approved a modification to the development agreement between the county and enXco that will have the company paying for necessary road repairs rather than contracting for the work to be done.
More than $500 million project has under construction since April

WORTHINGTON — The Nobles County Planning Commission Wednesday night approved a conditional use permit for enXco, a wind energy development company based in Minneapolis, to construct a switching station and maintenance facility in Nobles County.
WORTHINGTON — Xcel Energy and enXco announced Friday its plans to construct a 201-megawatt wind farm in Nobles County. The project will consist of 134, 1.5-megawatt General Electric wind turbines, which will produce enough power to serve approximately 66,500 homes.
