FULDA — Interstate Power and Light Company, an Alliant Energy company, is helping an ethanol plant in southwestern Minnesota save energy with a new fan system. Heron Lake BioEnergy earned a substantial rebate check from Alliant Energy for work to convert its coal-fired boiler system to natural gas, and reduce electrical use at the same time.
School district asking for help to repair building, replace worn equipment
FULDA — The Aquasize group in Fulda hasn’t been able to meet since January, but most of the members are getting quite the workout these days by scrubbing, cleaning and painting. Some are even making their husbands help.
WORTHINGTON — The District 518 Board of Education approved the purchase of long-distance learning equipment for a new high school nursing course which will be introduced during the fourth term of this school year.
