WORTHINGTON — Audience members at this year’s Worthington Windsurfing Regatta and Unvarnished Music Festival, slated for June 8-10, might recognize a few faces on the festival stage.
Saturday music extravaganza features 25 bands in both parade, field contests
LUVERNE — On sunny Saturday morning, the Worthington High School “Spirit of Worthington” band marched all the way to first place in the Class AAA parade competition at the 61st annual Tri-State Band Festival in Luverne.
LUVERNE — Greg Hoogeveen launched his photography career at Art Rocks Fine Arts Festival in Luverne one year ago, and he will return to the downtown show and sale this Saturday with more than just an array of prints and images on stone tiles. This time, he comes with a bit of notoriety.
In late May, Hoogeveen was one of five artists honored with the Emerging Artist Award during a show at Jackpot Junction Casino near Morton. The event, hosted by the Southwest Initiative Foundation, recognizes the talents of new Minnesota artisans.
WORTHINGTON — Perfect weather dominated the final two days of the Windsurfing Regatta and Unvarnished Music Festival, as Saturday’s sunshine was ideal for festival-goers and Sunday’s higher winds were sublime for windsurfers.
