HUTCHINSON — The McKnight Foundation recently approved a grant to the Southwest Initiative Foundation (SWIF) totaling $6 million over the next five years to further the organization’s mission and impact in the region. In 25 years, The McKnight Foundation has contributed more than $40 million to SWIF, who has in turn leveraged those resources to contribute more than $54 million in southwest Minnesota.
ROCK RAPIDS, Iowa — The Community Foundation of Lyon County has announced it will award $108,550 in grants to 18 organizations in 2010.
The foundation disperses funds though the Endow Iowa program, which funnels a portion of Iowa gambling revenues to counties without a gambling facility.
SIBLEY, Iowa — Twenty-seven organizations will receive a hand up on their projects tonight, when the Community Foundation of Osceola County hosts its annual awards ceremony at 5 p.m. in the Sibley Senior Center.
