Canada geese prepare to land and join the large numbers already in the water in a recently opened-up area of Worthington’s Lake Okabena near the grade. A near-record high temperature is expected once again today, but snow is in the forecast for later tonight.
Canada geese take flight to feed in area fields Tuesday afternoon from the only open water on Lake Okabena in Worthington. The large numbers of geese on the lake have kept the small area of water from freezing.
