WORTHINGTON — Ulises Mendez, accused in January of attempted murder, assault, riot, drive-by shooting and reckless discharge of a firearm, was sentenced Monday for the drive-by shooting and second-degree assault after pleading guilty in June. All other charges were dismissed.
WORTHINGTON — A suspect wanted in connection with last weekend’s shooting on Sherwood Street in Worthington has been taken into custody in California, according to the Worthington Police Department.
Ulises Mendez, 20, of Worthington, was arrested after exiting a bus in Los Angeles, California.
WORTHINGTON — She is on probation until 2015, and has been charged with at least 30 moving violations and crimes since 2002 — most of them in Nobles County. She pleaded guilty Monday to another, but because Minnesota law considers the sentence fulfilled, the consequences of her actions are small.
