Dayton running mate attends listening session regarding mental health
WORTHINGTON — Minnesota Sen. Yvonne Prettner Solon, DFL-Duluth, running mate for gubernatorial candidate Mark Dayton, stopped in Worthington Wednesday to discuss mental health care issues with area providers.
WILLMAR — The state is continuing to look for partners to take over providing mental health care services at Willmar’s 16-bed sub-acute care facility. But any changes would have to come at the request of the region, not the state.

WORTHINGTON — Effective July 1, Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington will no longer offer inpatient behavioral health services. The closure of the hospital’s behavioral health unit and transition of behavioral health services to Avera Marshall Regional Health Center was announced Tuesday at a press conference that included Marshall hospital staff via teleconference.
