SEARLES — Rob Peterson did it all for the Southwest Barnstormers’ amateur baseball team over the weekend, picking up the win on the mound and contributing a pair of doubles and an RBI in a 9-3 victory against Searles.
WILMONT — Wilmont’s Brandon Schroeder had been pinch hit for all throughout Sunday’s amateur baseball game against Pipestone, but when he finally got to the plate in the eighth inning he made sure his at bat counted for something.
HADLEY — Zach Bruns drilled a three-run homer, and Luke Schneider struck out eight batters to carry Hadley to a 6-3 victory over a pesky Milroy squad Sunday in an amateur baseball matchup that lasted seven innings.
