Traffic near new railroad bridge detoured by roundabout
WORTHINGTON — Residents living along Nobles County 4, 5 and 57 will begin to see their rural roads return to some semblance of normal traffic levels on Friday, when the Minnesota Department of Transportation lifts the 59/60 detour that has been in place for much of the past two years.
MANKATO — People interested in the proposed improvements to Minnesota 60 in Cottonwood and Watonwan counties can review a copy of the Minnesota 60 St. James to Windom Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement beginning Monday.
Another detour begins today
WORTHINGTON — Work on the Minnesota 60 four-lane expansion near Worthington moves into the next phase of construction today with new road closures and detours announced by R&G Construction, the Marshall-based contractor leading the project.
WORTHINGTON — What had been the primary detour route for Minnesota 60 will likely remain open to local traffic only through mid-to-late May as the Minnesota Department of Transportation fixes portions of County State Aid Highways 4 and 5 that have deteriorated under the weight of heavy traffic in recent weeks.
MANKATO — The Minnesota Department of transportation will host an open house about plans for the new four-lane sections on Minnesota 60 from Windom to St. James. The open house will be from 5 to 8 p.m. June 14 in the Mountain Lake City Hall Council Chambers, 930 Third Ave., Mountain Lake.
