Area high school students assemble ‘comfort kits’ OKABENA — Southwest Star Concept High School students worked with Nobles County Integration Collaborative (NCIC) employees and volunteers Wednesday to assemble 50 comfort kits in conjunction with Global Youth Service Day, observed on Saturday.

WORTHINGTON — The role of a school counselor is often misunderstood, according to Jan Larson, who has counseled students at Worthington Senior High “to help them be successful as students” for the past 19 years.
WORTHINGTON — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve.” In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Nobles County Integration (NCIC) is working hard during the month of January to promote service, student success and cultural integration.
