WORTHINGTON — After a month of enhanced DWI enforcement, the Minnesota Department of Safety (DPS) reported a decrease in the number of arrests in December compared to DWI arrests in the same month of 2011.

WORTHINGTON — Tuesday marked the last day of political filings for federal, state and county offices and other offices in municipalities and school districts that have primaries. The candidate withdrawal period ends Thursday at 5 p.m.
WORTHINGTON — Southwestern Minnesota Opportunity Council Inc. (SMOC) was awarded $3,668 in federal funds through the FEMA Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in Nobles County; and $9,070 to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in Murray, Pipestone and Rock counties.
