ST. PAUL — Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie uses state funds to campaign against a proposed constitutional amendment that would require voters to show photographic identification, two Republican state senators allege in a complaint filed Thursday.
Recount continues to proceed faster than expected ST. PAUL — Minnesota’s U.S. Senate recount turned frivolous Friday.
Each campaign accused the other of engaging in frivolous challenges, actions campaigns can use to claim that a voter’s candidate pick on a ballot is not clear.
ST. PAUL – A state elections board today approved the beginning of a statewide U.S. Senate recount, but delayed the most controversial item on the table – whether hundreds of disputed absentee ballots would be counted.
Mark Ritchie, Minnesota’s secretary of state and the state’s principal election official, is a Democrat.
Not surprisingly, some GOPers may see that as a potential problem in the ongoing Senate recount saga.
