READING — With its partially-treated sewage flowing into a judicial ditch for decades, the unincorporated hamlet of Reading has become the third community in as many years in Nobles County to now face the requirement of constructing a centralized sewer system.
WORTHINGTON — Nearly 15 people attended a public hearing Monday at the Worthington City Council meeting, expressing both support for and opposition to proposed street and storm sewer improvements on 27th Street, 29th Street and North Rose Avenue.
Four Douglas County residents have filed a lawsuit against the Central Lakes Region Sanitary District, alleging CLRSD officials violated the legislation that initially created the district, operating for years without a valid comprehensive plan.
