WORTHINGTON — Whether or not a Worthington man who pleaded guilty to criminal sexual conduct will be allowed to live in the same house as several underage female relatives will be decided during a psychosexual evaluation.
LUVERNE — Leo Swenson of Luverne is back in jail after allegedly violating an order for protection filed by his adopted daughter. He allegedly attempted to contact the woman by phone through a third party.
WINDOM — A sentencing hearing for Andrew Michael Thompson, originally set for Monday and postponed due to weather, has been tentatively continued to Jan. 26, but may need to be pushed further down the court calendar to make way for a previously scheduled trial.
WILLMAR — Paul Schmidt took the stand Friday morning and testified that he accidentally grabbed the 22-year-old Atwater woman’s breast while they were practicing therapeutic holds and take-down maneuvers during the early morning hours of Oct. 16, 2007 at the Atwater Police Department.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The attorney for Ryan Lee Balster, 22, of Jasper, has once again filed a motion to continue the case — his fourth such motion since Balster was arrested in May and charged with travelling with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct.
