A senior 130-pounder for Fulda/Murray County Central’s wrestling team, Reinsma was trailing 1-0 against Simley’s Tommy Glenn midway through the third period Friday in the Class AA semifinals. He was turning, spinning, scrambling and doing everything he could to escape the grasp of the top-ranked wrestler in his weight class.

ST. PAUL — The Jackson County Central wrestling team has a goal of winning the Class A team competition and winning five individual titles at the Minnesota State High School wrestling tournament.
Half of that goal has nearly come to fruition, as the Huskies secured five berths in the individual finals Friday at the Xcel Energy Center.
ST. PAUL — While the match was not as dramatic as Thursday’s bout against Kenyon-Wanamingo, the result was the same for Jackson County Central.
The Huskies defeated the Frazee Hornets, 40-22, Friday evening to advance to the Class A team finals of the Minnesota State High School wrestling tournament at the Xcel Energy Center. JCC will take on the Canby Lancers today.
