WORTHINGTON — The victim hopefully learned not to leave a wallet full of cash in an unlocked car, and the four South Dakotans accused of stealing the car hopefully learned not to boost a vehicle equipped with OnStar.
All four are facing felony charges after boosting a car in Sioux Falls, S.D. and driving to Worthington Saturday.
PIPESTONE — An Edgerton man who was once sentenced to 81 months in prison on drug charges is now facing burglary and theft charges in Pipestone County District Court after allegedly stealing numerous items in January.
WORTHINGTON — Authorities believe a short-change artist who stopped in Worthington this week was just passing through on Interstate 90 and has left the area, according to the Worthington Police Department.
WILLMAR — Chad Michael Johnson, 38, of Willmar, was sentenced Monday to 105 days in jail, 10 years of probation and 100 hours of community service on a felony charge of theft by swindle for taking $15,300 from the Willmar Fire Department for his personal use.
