Holiday exhibit opens Sunday

The Nobles County Art Center’s annual Holiday Exhibit and Sale will open with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the gallery located in the lower level of the War Memorial Building (Nobles County Library), 407 12th St., Worthington.

The exhibit will feature unique gifts created by area artists, including: notecards and fabric monkeys by Evelyn Renken; wallhangings, bags and ornaments by Cheryl Guacci; semiprecious jewelry by Tom Ling; woodcarvings and pottery by Gaeland Priebe; cards by Jan Remme; jewelry by Cheryl DePover; photography by Tom Merchant; quilted table runners and iPad bags by Cheryl Freeburg; upcycled jewelry by Pam Rickers and Sheryl Hokeness; buckeye nuts, handmade scarves and jewelry by Beverly Kness; ostrich shell ornaments and miniature paintings by Kimberly Jansen.

The exhibit and sale continues through December. Hours are 2 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The art center will also be open to accommodate Christmas shopping from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 14 and 21.
