Westminster spaghetti supper set for Friday

WORTHINGTON — The 15th annual spaghetti supper will be Friday at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 230 Clary St. Serving will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

The meal will include all-you-can-eat spaghetti, garlic bread, relishes, dessert and beverage, all for a suggested donation price.

The event is sponsored by the church’s ACTS (Active Christians Together in Service) Task Force.

Benefit brunch coming up for Brian Korthals family

WORTHINGTON — A pancake and sausage brunch benefit for the Brian Korthals family will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 17 at American Lutheran Church, 915 Winifred St.

A free-will offering will be taken to help with expenses related to Brian’s fight with stage 4 kidney cancer. Checks should be made payable to American Lutheran Church.

Local Widows Ministry to gather Monday at ALC

WORTHINGTON — The nondenominational Widows Ministry will meet at 2 p.m. Monday at the American Lutheran Church, 915 Winifred St.

Speaker will be Cindy Ira-Smith, parish nurse at American Lutheran Church.
