Board sets February referendum date



Gail Poppen and Paul Dittmer were married Oct. 6 at American Lutheran Church, Worthington, with the Rev. Ryan Radtke officiating.

Parents of the couple are the late Robert Baumgartner, Kathryn and Charles Fodness, Rushmore, and the late Robert and Mary Dittmer.

Maid of honor was Adrienne Poppen. Bridesmaids were Kaylee Dittmer, Sarah Beckstrom, Jennifer Baumgartner and CJ Kremer. Personal attendant was Terri Baumgartner. Flower girls were Jessica Baumgartner and Maddisyn Garvis.

Best man was Chris Dittmer. Groomsmen were Aaron Poppen, Anthony Poppen, Jeff Dittmer and Bob Dittmer. Ring bearer was Henry Beckstrom. Ushers were Dustin Dittmer, Zach Baumgartner and Scott Johnson.

Music was provided by Andrew Stewart and Adrienne Poppen, vocalists. Reader was Pat Baumgartner.

The reception was at the Wilmont Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, with Pat and Barb Baumgartner hosting. Makayla Kuck attended the guest book. Aiden Beckstrom served punch. Deb Peters and Lauri VanderVeen cut the cake.

The bride is a 1983 graduate of Worthington High School. She is employed as manager of Worthington Travel Plaza.

The groom is a 1987 graduate of Fairfax High School, graduate of Northwestern College and has a registered nursing degree from Anoka Ramsey Community College. He is employed as a registered nurse in the surgery department at Avera Worthington Specialty Clinics.

Following a wedding trip to Lutsen Bay Resort, they live in Worthington.
